Hello World!

Well, if you haven't figured it out yet, Maleah was born earlier this week. At 37 weeks and 4 days, she graced us with her presence and love. Here's her story.....

Late Saturday night, Sara and I went for a long walk around Red Bud trying to get Sara's water to break.....yeah, when you are that miserable, you will do what you can do. Sara had some contractions through the night but by around 330 they were stronger and closer apart. After a nice hot bath, Sara decided it was time to go. We headed to Belleville to Memorial Hospital where the nurses decided that Sara was going to be there for a little while. We had just one concern, is the baby head down. The nurses just could not tell from feeling so they did an ultra sound which gave us a picture of Maleah right side up. The nurses called the doctor and it was decided that Sara would have to have a C Section. By this time, Sara was glad to have it done. We really did not have time to think about it. By the time we started to, they wheeled Sara to the OR. Maleah was born at 9:00 am on Sunday June 29th. Beautiful and healthy, she came into this world grabbing hold of the nurse's mask and leaving her mark forever on that little covering. Soon, we will have more pictures of her. Right now, this is the only pciture that I can post :

We thank you for your prayers and your love. :)

That's so awesome, Will. I trust Sara didn't have any complications and they let y'all head on home after a couple of days? I want the reports of bringing Maleah home for the first time and being on your own!
