Home on the Range

Good Afternoon all!

Maleah has been home for almost a week now and is enjoying her new home. We brought her home on Wednesday afternoon to the delight of grandparents, deacons, sister in laws, and friends a like. Sara had some complications due to the spinal anesthetic that she had so visitors were limited to our deacons and my mother in law. Maleah has adjusted very well to her new home. She enjoys the fleece blankets people have given her and the 5.00 swing that we bought at a yard sale. Every 2-3 hours she awakes hungry and then sleepy. Right now, Sara and Maleah are curled up on our love seat sleeping. We decided to venture out on Thursday to the Dr. Office for a check up on the baby. Yesterday after being stir crazy, we headed to Walmart where we picked up a few things and headed to McDonalds to eat. Today we went to church for the first time in a week which meant that with a baby we were swamped with loverly people who wanted to see Maleah. She's definitely getting popular. Tomorrow will be a bombardment of phone calls to make and appointments to get together before I have to head back to work on Wednesday. You can see Maleah's pictures on my Myspace.
