Week 18

Man, it's been a crazy two weeks. No one could ever have imagined how much can change in just a blink of an eye. We can one minute be resting with the care that all is well in the world. And the next minute, that very world that was restful and carefree can be rocked. Many times have I just wanted to type out and write what I thought at the time. Pastor's message today was so on key and on target. Of course, it's understandable. So I have decided to refrain from throwing the spears back. I have decided that any snide or coarse remarks about my church family and it's members will remain unspoken. But I have decided that I would say one thing. Hold your children and loved ones close to you. They are a precious treasure from God that should be charished forever and ever. Love God first and then your family. You never know when the day will come when you will have to say goodbye. It's a fact of life that in this world we will face trials and things will happen that we feel to be unfair and unjust. However, we have to remind ourselves it is not God that did this unthinkable thing. It is not God who allowed it, though He could have prevented it. It is the pure evil that took away these lives. We need to pray for that individual and believe that God will bring salvation to his or her's path. Never forget that He, being God, is the one who will receive the glory, the honor, and the praise.
Week 18- The BabyHead to rump, your baby is about 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and he weighs almost 7 ounces. He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. His blood vessels are visible through his thin skin, and his ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from his head a bit. A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around his nerves, a process that will continue for a year after he's born. If you're having a girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If you're having a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, but he may hide them from you during an ultrasound.
Week 18- Le MammaSara's doing well and feeling pretty good for the most part. The Braxton-Hicks have been starting up again like they did with Maleah. At least this time, we know what's going on and aren't freaking out. Sara seems to be enjoying the pregnancy with the exception of the side effects. We look forward to Memphis soon to see Valfrey with they upcoming arrival. It's exciting to see that our family is growing.
May God's love pour out on you and overtake you!

Deep breaths, Will! Let the negativity flow past. I'm sure you're making the best of whatever can be thrown at you, and hey, isn't it great to have an incredible wife and adorable daughter to go home with?

I am great, actually. God has been good to Sara and I. I will explain later in an email what was intended... :)
