Tummy Update 17
It is hard to believe that we are on week 17 with our newbie. Soon, we will get to see our little bundle and find out what he or she is. So far, Mom is doing well. She's growing by leaps and bounds and enjoys the joys of eating whatever she wants with no excuse required. I second that amen. :) Baby News 17 Weeks:Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.Momma's Day was filled with praise and worship at church, food in the tummy afterwards, and resting the afternoon with the Cardinals. Maleah slept this afternoon and played when she got up, not understanding the reason for the day. Soon, we will be painting Maleah's new room. The guest room is old ladyish right now because of the quilts and flowers on the wall. Soon, it will be transformed into butterflies, beautiful egg shell paint, and some other suprises. More tummy updates and pictures to come soon. No, I haven't forgotten the pictures. Geeze, what kind of daddy would I be?

Ah, so jealous of your turnip. We just got to apple! (Wait, are turnips really bigger than apples? Huh. Who knew?)
Happy Mother's Day to Sara!
