As you can see, we are heading towards the third trimester! Sara and Maleah are doing very well and are healthy. The major issue at hand is the lack of sleep for Sara. The comfort level is not there but we are trying new things. We had my parents, sister, and grandmother over for easter this past week. They, for the first time, we able to enjoy our new home. I think their favorite room is the baby's room. They went to church on Friday because our church has a play that we do each year. Sara, her mom and dad, and I took part in it this year despite the adversities that we had. Some of you know that Sara's grandmother had been ill for the past several months. I entitled this blog "Fat and Sassy" for her grandmother who each time we asked how she was doing would answer, "Fat and Sassy." The hardest thing to do is to say goodbye. Grandma B passed away Sunday afternoon after fighting the illnesses that afflicted her. She did, however, accept the Lord Jesus Christ into her heart in the past several weeks. She's now relaxing in no more pain and no more sorrow. She will be missed.
Week 25- The Baby
Your developing baby now measures about 8.8 inches from crown to rump and weighs 1.5 pounds. Skin now becomes opaque instead of transparent. Its body is still covered with folds like a puppy dog that need to grow into its skin. Heartbeat can be heard through a stethoscope or, depending on the position of the baby, by others putting an ear against your belly.

Will, give Sara our best wishes, and she and her family are in our prayers. This has been a long year, far too many of our elders are passing away, and with them the stories and experience our youth requires.
