A Few More and I ll be ok....

I just could not resist the title. I was in Fairview Heights this morning with Sean and we ate at I-HOP as a ritual for the end of my single life. Not that my single life was that exciting. I never really drank and when I did, it was very little. I never smoked mary J or did any drugs. I never went on sleeping bendges with all the girls at my employer's office even though most of the guys wanted to...scares me at the thought of it. **shutters** In a few days I can check that mark on all of those surveys as married. I can finally tell people, "Hey. That's my beautiful wife!" and not be making a joke about the girl next door who I have never met in my life. We ended up going home to wait for Sara to get there and once she did, we decided to go to St. Louis to get my hair cut. One place was 25.00. I said, nah I think I ll look somewhere else. Well somewhere else was an hour wait and we wanted to go bowling. We looked into the Discovery Store before we left and before we left, my mom called (who I thought would not be here until around 2...I was proved wrong) to let me know that they were are mile marker 186. Which is literally 40 minutes from the house. So I had to book it home where we were met by them. Amanda, I believe, is more excited about the wedding than we are. I thought it was funny that she can't wait but then again, most of our families are the same way. We are both 24....enough said. Anyway, we decided to go to...**drum roll please** IHOP. I almost got disowed earlier because Sara didn't get to go and she loves IHOP. Well, I recieved my redemption. ;) We waited almost 15 minutes to be waited on. The place only had 10 people in there eating with several people just standing in the kitchen. One girl past us, I know at least 10 times. I finally got up and told someone. Dad was a little ticked because I told him to sit back down that I would take care of it. But he wasn't feeling well and I know how he can be when he is not feeling well and that just would not make the situation any better. Anyway, she finally showed up and took our order. The cooks in the back got the orders wrong for Mom and Sean. It was pretty sad but what do you do. You eat the food, you leave the tip, and you walk out the door being sensible. That's called Christianity. Anyway, we were going to go to a movie but since we were delayed at the restaraunt, we were running late. By the time we got to After Hours, it was already 330 and the movie started at 405. We had to get them done. So we got that done and waited 45 minutes to get my hair cut. Which was fine because it needed it. We sat around for about an hour and finally I told mom and dad that they needed to go to the motel because mom was hurting and dad was tired. So they left and we headed to our home away from home, Target. We looked for some shoes for Sean and Sara looked at some sneakers. Then we left to drop her off at the nail salon to get her nails done with Wendy, Beverly, and Amanda. Sean and I have been sitting here playing games (meaning him on the x box and me ont he computer) and relaxing. The next to last day of my single life was filled with more excitement than most of the days combined of my single life.

Less than two days people. I think I am getting excited lol. Thank you for you all your prayers and your time for reading these blogs I have been posting. Of course, next week there will be no updates and no postings. I will be...away....yeah, away.....
