Getting Back Into The Grind | The Grind

The Chipped Mug has been being worked on at this time.  With the upcoming birth of our third child, Sara and I are filled with joy and busy work.  God has been working through each and every situation.  As we sit and watch our other two bundles run around, we are filled with the wonder of what God is doing.  It is a constant reminder of the dream of The Chipped Mug.  As we anxiously wait for the arrival of our new bundle of joy, we are also anxiously awaiting a dream.  Below is an excerpt from what God is building through the birth of The Chipped Mug:

The Chipped Mug believes firmly in the Word of God.  Many who have inquired are wondering is this going to be a “Christian” coffee shop.   The answer is yes, but you won’t see it by the wording of its materials or any propaganda. What do we mean? “The world has been so beat up with religion that they are very turned off by it regardless of what religion it is.  Jesus went into the market place with a message to the people that God loves them and desires to see them set free from religious mediocrity.  What does that mean for TCM?  That means when you walk into our doors, you may not recognize that we are a Christian coffee shop because we do not brand ourselves as such.  We brand ourselves in changing the world which means both the religious elite and the heathen can come together without wondering if someone will be offended.  Jesus said ‘they will know you by your fruit’ which is vital to the ministry of TCM.  When you walk it, you won’t see pictures of Jesus on every door post.  What you will see is our staff exemplifying those characteristics.
