Week 20 in Tummy Central

We are quickly passing twenty weeks and a few more days we find out if we are having a girl or a boy. All bets are pretty much that it is a boy. We will be happy either way. :) Sara's been doing good with the exception of the painful back, legs, feet....ok, there's a lot of discomfort. But hey, you carry around a munchkin in your belly and you will quickly find that it's not easy task.

OUR Baby
Your baby weighs about 10 1/2 ounces now. He's also around 6 1/2 inches long from head to bottom and about 10 inches from head to heel — the length of a banana. (For the first 20 weeks, when a baby's legs are curled up against his torso and hard to measure, measurements are taken from the top of his head to his bottom — the "crown to rump" measurement. After 20 weeks, he's measured from head to toe.)He's swallowing more these days, which is good practice for his digestive system. He's also producing meconium, a black, sticky by-product of digestion. This gooey substance will accumulate in his bowels, and you'll see it in his first soiled diaper (some babies pass meconium in the womb or during delivery).

We find ourselves finding something to laugh at more each day. Whether it's who passes the loudest gas. This week, Maleah. The child made my arm quiver in fear! But yesterday, Jessica put a funny post on Facebook about "I Don't Drink Beer." We heard the clip and about fell off our rockers....literally.

It's been very busy at work with the new system and overtime. I am sure Sara will be glad when I am home more. I am so glad that she understands that I am preparing. Someone once told me that is why God gives us 9 months....

Keep our Pastor and his family in prayer. Many developments will be coming soon in the case and we are excited that God is in control. Do we know the final outcome, no. But we do know that God knows the future and our plan is to kick back and pray. I wanted to include in this portion the following thought;

If someone has repented of committing a sin to God, then God no longer remembers it. With that said, all other talk about the topic that this person has repented of, namely adultery, is considered gossip. Why? God is listening to you speak about something that is not in His mind any longer and it is considered a slanderous thought or word. Be careful what you speak about. The fact of the matter is that God knows the heart and it is place to judge, not us. I may catch some slack for this statement but I have to say, unless you have been in the shoes of the accused, you need to think about what would you feel like if you were there in those shoes? Just food for thought.

Soon, we will be heading for a few busy weekends and a few things that will rock our world. Thank God for His provisions and grace!

LOL. I hope that it's just between you and Maleah, and not Sara!

Eww, "meconium" is a new word for me. I guess I'll encounter it in our books soon. Sounds icky!

We're only 12 days away from knowing our baby's gender! Don't steal our names, even though you don't know what they are!

Well, the cat has tried to get in on it but between a pregnant lady and a growing baby with new foods, you can't hardly get a word in edgewise. lol.

We have a boy name picked out from before we had Maleah so we are going with that if it is a boy. If it a girl, we are going to need a miracle. We have no idea!
