Busy Bees Getting Busier

So...I hear people are complaining that I haven't posted in a couple of weeks. Seriously. :) Sorry for the absence. I have been extremely busy with overtime, house remodeling, cleaning and cutting the yard which this week is a no, and getting ready for the rest of the summer. Sara is doing pretty well and keeping busy. She is getting excited that Maleah's new room is almost finished and is ready for her to move into. Sara and I found out last week that we are having a girl! So another addition to the Howell clan will be a hormone filled creature. Her name will be Joanna Grace. Joanna is going to move into Maleah's old room and we will hope that in a few years they won't realize that one's room is bigger than the other. Then we can threaten with a sibling....just kidding. Joanna is growing by leaps and bounds. So far there are no cravings that are out of the ordinary. I will have to say that Momma loves to eat. And I love it! Because if she eats....I eats....lol. On to the update:

At 21 Weeks
Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now, and if you're having a girl, her vagina has begun to form as well.

At 22 Weeks
At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound, your baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. His lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and he's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath his gums. His eyes have formed, but his irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside your womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair (lanugo) that covers his body and the deep wrinkles on his skin, which he'll sport until he adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside his belly, his pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.

Maleah never misses a beat. She started walking on Sunday night before last from the couch to the futon. Now, she likes to chase dad around the house on all fours saying "da da da" and laughing. I think it's a sign of things to come. She also broke through her fourth tooth earlier this week shall we say Praise the Lord. She's definately a tough fighter being that she has both the Howell and the Krebel traits in her. Praise God for the Germans. lol.

This weekend will be full of camping and fun. We are hoping that mom gets plenty of rest on the ground..... we can pray. We have an air mattress that I am going to blow up, not literally, to see if it will work for her. Maybe we can both sleep on it....one can hope.
