Week 13

Momma and baby are doing today. They are very tired though with the move to Red Bud and getting things prepared. Sara is overtired a lot from working on all these projects, but we are going to look on the bright side...it's almost all over with the move.

The Baby:Your fully formed fetus, now in about its 11th week of development, measures 2.6 to 3.1 inches from crown to rump and weighs between half an ounce and seven-tenths of an ounce -- about the size of a peach. The head is still disproportionately bigger than the body, but the rest of the body is starting to catch up. In fact, your baby is growing rapidly these days. The face is starting to look more human, with eyes moving closer together. Toes and fingers are clearly separate, and ankles and wrists have formed. External genitalia are becoming visible. Intestines are shifting into their proper place, too.

Sara, other than feeling a little blah from time to time, is doing well. She is showing (more pictures to come soon after the move) and is filling out some of the clothes.

The move is going well, we are almost done. Saturday will be our final move and the old house will be empty. I am going to clean it completely out (dusting, vacumming, washing..etc..) the last Saturday of the month. Work is going well for me so far. Really enjoying all the stuff going on around the ministry.

Man, so much going on in the mnext few weeks and so many things to think about. Be blessed in all that you do!

So now that Sara is starting to show, does that mean she's reached that best part of maternity, wearing clothes with elastic, eating foods that aren't entirely healthy, and not caring? I think Val secretly yearns for this part of pregnancy. I do, too, if it means more cherry vanilla ice cream!
