Grandma got ranover by a lawnmower....

You just couldn't resist this blog, now could you? We went to Memphis last week and decided to visit everyone and there grandmother, and I mean that quite literally. We left good ole' St. Louie on Thursday and arrived late late late that night to a twin bed for two. lol. We slept through the night and decided to go to Mammaw's the next day where we had lunch with her and I went through some of Granddaddy's cameras. We grabbed my old mattress from the barn and took it to Dad and Mom's house. While were there we got a phone call from Mammaw, hence the title of this blog. She and Glen (my uncle) were driving down Independence Road (where Mammaw has lived forever and a day) and a lawnmower decided to plow into her Thunderbird (which has maybe 35000 miles on it and its nearly 20 years old...eh?) Grandma got ran over by a lawnmower. With minimal damage, she went on her merry way. We then headed out to a Chinese restaraunt with Sean and his parents where we ensued in an interesting conversation about women's rights, the bible, tracts, sex (yes you read right), and so much more. We enjoyed our time there and decided it was time to head out. We played a few games of Rummy and Liverpool with Dad and Mom. On Saturday we headed to Mississippi to see my Mom's family. Sara had an interesting time. We will leave it at that. Then we went to Mammaws house again and ended up at Ryan's Steakhouse for dinner. Our short vacation ended with going to church with Sean and eating at Wendy's with his friends. We definately had a time to remember.

More to come.....more to share....just watch out for Grandma!

Leave it at that? Leave it at that? Now I'm more interested than ever!

Wish we could have gotten together as part of your busy schedule last weekend, but the life of young marrieds takes us all over the place in high demand, eh?

And yes, getting into an accident with a crazy lawnmower guy is definitely a story for the ages! The "wreck" didn't do much damage, but only because my Father-In-Law slowed down when he saw that the guy on the riding mower wasn't exactly paying attention to his surroundings.
